13 Dead, 101 Rescued in Mumbai Ferry-Navy Boat Collision

A tragic collision between a passenger ferry and a navy speedboat near Mumbai's Elephanta Caves has left 13 people dead, with two others in critical condition.

The ferry, Neelkamal, was en route to the popular tourist site when the accident occurred.

Emergency services, including the Navy, Coast Guard, and Police, quickly launched a large-scale rescue operation. 101 people were rescued, some wearing life jackets.

The operation involved 11 navy crafts and four helicopters.

Authorities are continuing their efforts to assist the victims and investigate the cause of the collision.
