18-Year-Old in Custody Over Fatal Stabbing in Suva

An 18-year-old student is in police custody following an alleged stabbing incident that resulted in the death of a man in his 20s this morning.

Police say they received a report of the incident at an apartment complex along Waimanu Road. Officers from Totogo Police Station were deployed to the scene, where they found the victim motionless.

The suspect was arrested at the scene and remains in custody as investigations continue.

Police have yet to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
