Serevi Considers Entering Politics

Fiji rugby legend Waisale Serevi is considering entering politics ahead of the next general election after being approached by several political parties.

Serevi says he remains open to discussions but has not decided which party to join, with Unity Fiji among those he has considered.

Known as the “King of Sevens”, Serevi captained Fiji to Rugby World Cup Sevens victories in 1997 and 2005. He also guided Fiji to its first World Sevens Series title in 2005-06 as player-coach and was inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame in 2013.
