Mass Shooting Near Brisbane Leaves Four Injured

A mass shooting outside a popular hotel south of Brisbane, Australia, has left four people hospitalised, including a 19-year-old woman fighting for her life.

The shooting occurred at approximately 8.15pm on Saturday outside Fitzy’s Hotel in Loganholme, where families and children had gathered for a boxing event.

According to Queensland Police, shots were fired from a passing vehicle before the gunman fled the scene.

The 19-year-old woman remains in critical condition, while three men aged 27, 37 and 38 are reportedly in serious but stable conditions.

Witnesses described scenes of panic as gunshots rang out, sending people scrambling for safety. Some attendees reportedly hid inside rooms while others rushed to assist the injured.

Australian media reported that bullet holes and blood were visible around the entrance to the hotel.

A vehicle believed to have been involved in the shooting was later discovered burning in nearby Waterford West.

Investigators are examining whether the attack was targeted, with Australian media reporting possible links to motorcycle gangs.

Logan Mayor Jon Raven said the shooting had shocked the community, particularly as children and families were present at the event.

Organisers of the Logan City Titles boxing event expressed heartbreak over the violence and offered their support to the victims and their families.

No arrests had been reported as police continued their investigation.

Queensland Police have assured the public that there is no indication of an ongoing threat.
