19-Year-Old Remanded Over Alleged Navua Robbery
A 19-year-old man has been remanded in custody following an alleged robbery and assault involving a 42-year-old man in Navua.
Police allege the accused assaulted the victim and stole his mobile phone during an incident on the morning of September 5, 2026.
The accused was subsequently charged withone count of robbery and one count of assault causing bodily harm.
He appeared before the Navua Magistrates Court on September 7, where he was remanded.
The matter will be recalled on September 21, 2026.
