Reserve Bank of Fiji Records $120.6 Million Profit
The Reserve Bank of Fiji has recorded a net profit of $120.6 million for the financial year ended July 31, 2026, marking its fourth consecutive year with profits exceeding $100 million.
RBF Governor and Board Chair Ariff Ali announced the result following the presentation of the Bank’s audited financial statements and operations report for the 2025–2026 financial year to Finance Minister Esrom Yosef Immanuel.
The financial statements were signed at the RBF Board meeting before being presented to the Minister.
According to the Reserve Bank, the strong financial result was supported by the prudent management of Fiji’s foreign reserves and higher global interest rates on the Bank’s investments.
The latest profit will also result in a transfer to the Fijian Government, providing additional support to government finances.
The RBF’s continued profitability highlights the importance of effective foreign reserve and investment management amid changing global financial conditions.
