Declaring that it is time to "take back the Government" and build a "New Fiji" founded on what it describes as God's Kingdom principles, the Kingdom Unite All People's Party (KUAPP) has appointed aspiring politician and Marist Brothers High School old boy Abel Camillo as its Campaign Lead ahead of the next General Election.

Camillo will oversee the party's national campaign efforts alongside Party President Leiene Nawaqaliva and Acting Party Leader Sefanaia Manoa.

The party has positioned itself as a movement advocating governance based on Christian values, honest leadership and national unity. It has also criticised the current Government over issues including the delivery of services to rural communities, public spending and what it says are unfulfilled election promises.

In a recent statement, the party said it had received the support and blessings of several traditional leaders and elders from parts of Ra, Nadi and the Western Division as it expands its campaign across the country. The party said these endorsements would help drive its vision of creating a "New Fiji" and encouraged people from all races to join its movement.

Camillo, who has publicly expressed his ambition to one day serve as Fiji's Prime Minister, said the party was seeking to unite people from all backgrounds under what it describes as "God's Kingdom principles."

Among the party's stated priorities are promoting honest leadership, strengthening national unity, reducing corruption, improving prosperity and ensuring greater support for villages and traditional communities. It says its long-term vision is to achieve "love, unity, prosperity, true happiness and peace" for Fiji.

As Campaign Lead, Camillo is expected to coordinate the party's election strategy, candidate engagement and nationwide campaign activities ahead of the polls.
