A worker at Grace Road Group has shared how the company gave him an opportunity to build a better future, as the group continues expanding its investment footprint across Fiji while creating jobs for hundreds of local families.

Aisea Tuilevu, originally from Nadroga, said joining the Grace Road Group team changed the direction of his life after leaving school at a young age.

“This one company, even if you leave school in Year Five, they accept you to come and work here,” Tuilevu said while working in the company’s bakery division.

“We are doing a lot of things in bakery… only two things, be honest, work hard.”

Tuilevu said the opportunity has allowed him to earn a stable income while supporting family members who remain in his village.

His story comes as Grace Road continues to grow as one of Fiji’s largest private investors, with the company now operating across agriculture, food production, retail, hospitality, health services, construction and renewable energy.

The group currently employs around 900 local staff, with previous company statements indicating its projects directly and indirectly support more than 1,000 Fijians nationwide.

For Tuilevu, however, the impact is personal.
