Assistant Minister for Transport Visits LTA, Pledges Support for Safer Roads

The Assistant Minister for Transport, Hon. Naisa Tuinaceva, visited the Land Transport Authority (LTA) headquarters in Valelevu, Nasinu yesterday to learn more about its work and future plans.
Hon. Tuinaceva, who was once the LTA Chief Executive Officer, met with the management team and was updated on road safety efforts across Fiji.
He praised LTA’s progress, especially its use of new technology to improve vehicle inspections and ensure safer roads.
“It's great to be back after so many years and see how much LTA has grown. The new technology being used for vehicle inspections is a big step forward for road safety,” he said.
The Assistant Minister also assured the public that the government fully supports LTA’s initiatives and will continue working with them to improve road safety and transport services.
LTA Chief Executive Officer Irimaia Rokosawa thanked Hon. Tuinaceva for his visit and appreciated his support and experience in helping Fiji build a safer and better road network.
