Ba Cites Discipline and Conduct in Kumar’s Dismissal

Ba Cites Discipline and Conduct in Kumar’s Dismissal

The Ba Football Association says disciplinary and conduct matters led to its decision to terminate head coach Ravinesh Kumar’s contract with immediate effect.

In a clarification following its initial announcement, the association said the decision related to the standards expected of those representing Ba Football. It did not disclose details of the matters involved.

The original statement, signed by interim president Praneel Dayal, confirmed that the interim committee had decided to terminate Kumar’s contract following a season in which Ba claimed four consecutive titles.

Responding to questions about the departure, the association said it understood supporters wanted answers but needed to respect contractual obligations, confidentiality and the rights of everyone involved.

It said it would not discuss individual allegations or confidential employment matters on social media.

The association also urged supporters, players, officials and the wider football community to respect the appropriate processes and avoid speculation or personal attacks.

In its initial announcement, Ba thanked Kumar for his commitment, hard work and contribution throughout his time with the team and wished him well for the future.

The association said its focus remained on its players, team stability and the future of Ba Football. Updates on the appointment of a new head coach will be announced in due course.
