A total of 47 participants—including police officers and community youth leaders from Rakiraki, Tavua, and Lautoka—successfully completed the Blue Light Train the Trainers Workshop on Wednesday, 14 May 2025, marking another successful collaboration between the Fiji Police Force and New Zealand Blue Light.

The week-long training aimed to empower those involved in youth work by equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to implement community-based programmes that promote youth leadership and personal development.

Participants engaged in a series of interactive sessions focused on mentorship, life skills, leadership training, and strategies to positively engage at-risk youth.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen community-police partnerships and create safer, more resilient communities through youth empowerment.
