Caubati Man in Possession of Marijuana

A 40-year-old man was arrested in Caubati following a police raid that uncovered several dried branches and leaves wrapped in aluminum foil, believed to be marijuana.

The raid was conducted by the Southern Division Serious Organized Crime and Intelligence Department, took place shortly after lunch yesterday.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Livai Driu emphasized the Fiji Police Force’s commitment to the Counter Narcotics Framework, particularly in disrupting networks involved in distributing illicit substances.

The suspect has been taken into custody, and all seized items have been sent for analysis.
