Community Collaboration Leads to Major Marijuana Seizure
FIJI NEWS

Community support for policing efforts has once again proven effective, resulting in the seizure of over one thousand plants suspected to be marijuana.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Livai Driu reported that officers in Savusavu collaborated with those involved in Operation Tagimoucia and local community members to uproot the plants found in the terrain above Nawi village.
ACP Driu emphasized that ongoing efforts to reduce the illegal drug supply in both urban and rural areas continue across all five policing divisions, thanks to community involvement.
