Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) John Rabuku fired back at Fiji Law Society (FLS) President Wylie Clark

In an apparent social media comment that has gone viral on Twitter, Rabuku asked FLS to be more consistent with issues they take a stand on.

"I'm not a member of FLS but it's annoying how you Wylie and your lawyers at the FLS are picky and inconsistent on the rule of law issues in Fiji," commented Rabuku.

"There are several public issues that the FLS has not made a rule of law stand on when you are expected to."

Rabuku asked the FLS to stop being hypocrites and invited them to his office for a discussion to further understand the ODPP's position on the matter.

Rabuka was appointed Deputy DPP by the Acting DPP Nancy Tikoisuva in August last year (2024)
