DPM Prasad Joins Eid Celebrations, Emphasizes Unity and Inclusivity

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Hon. Professor Biman Prasad, joined families in celebrating Eid, highlighting the festival’s significance in promoting unity and strengthening community ties.

Taking time from his busy schedule, Professor Prasad visited various gatherings where he acknowledged the Muslim community’s contributions to Fiji’s social and economic progress. He emphasized the values of compassion, generosity, and togetherness that Eid represents.

“Eid is a time of reflection, gratitude, and unity. It reminds us of the importance of kindness, generosity, and respect for one another,” he said.

His presence was warmly received by families, who welcomed him with traditional Eid delicacies and heartfelt hospitality.

Many expressed their appreciation, noting that his visit added to the joy of their celebrations.

Professor Prasad extended his best wishes to all Fijians, encouraging continued harmony and inclusivity in the nation.
