After an eight-year pause, the 2025 Education Forum has officially resumed, launched by Minister for Education Hon. Aseri Radrodro under the theme “Re-emerging Education through Collaboration.”

The forum brings together key players from universities, faith-based organisations, education boards, and international partners including UNICEF, DFAT, and EFEP. It builds on the outcomes of the 2023 National Education Summit and aligns with the Denarau Declaration’s 10-year policy framework.

In his keynote address, Hon. Radrodro described the forum’s return as a turning point for post-pandemic education reform, urging stakeholders to move beyond dialogue into real, inclusive action.

Priorities outlined include equitable access to digital learning tools, especially in rural and maritime regions, stronger teacher support, curriculum reform, and a full review of the 1966 Education Act.

“The time has come to redefine, rebuild and reimagine education,” Radrodro said. “Let this forum spark real action.”
