Education Minister Hands Over Fiberglass Boat and Engine to Ratu Naivalu Memorial School in Yasawa

The Minister for Education, Hon. Aseri Radrodro, handed over a 23-foot fiberglass boat with a 40hp Yamaha outboard engine to Ratu Naivalu Memorial School on Wayalailai Island in the Yasawa group.

The boat and engine, worth $24,000, will help students from nearby villages travel to school safely and easily.

This support will improve access to education for many children in the area.

The handover took place during the Minister’s recent visit to the Yasawa Islands.

The visit is part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to build strong relationships with communities and promote educational development in remote areas.
