EFL PLANNED POWER SHUTDOWN

Energy Fiji Limited (EFL) announced a planned power shutdown on November 25th to carry out urgent power line maintenance. The shutdown was scheduled as follows:
In Labasa, the power outage occurred from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, affecting areas such as Naduna, Nagigi No.11, Nagigi Primary School, and Waigele Airport Road from Wailevu Village Junction to Wailevu Solove Junction.
In Nasese, the power outage took place from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, affecting the whole of Domain Road, Allardyce Road, Jackson Street, Mahatey Drive, Barton Place, Imthurn Road, Seymour Drive, O’Brien Road, Pacific Islands, Development Forum, Walesi Head Office, South Point Lodge, Royal British Legion Community, Live and Learn Fiji, and Berkley Crescent.
In Savusavu, the power outage occurred from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, affecting Nacekoro and Tavulomo.
In Nadi, the shutdown took place from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, affecting the whole of Nawaka Village, parts of Kerebula, Alla Dutta Road, Lolobalavu Reservoir, Taci, Vatutu Village, Togo Lavusa Road, Togo Bhartiya School, and Naicaracara.
EFL advises all residents to treat power lines as live, as they can get electrified at any time.
