Emergency Top-Up Support for Social Welfare Recipients

Social welfare and social pension recipients will receive increased allowances over the next three months as part of Government’s response to the fuel price situation.

Recipients are encouraged to use the funds wisely for essential household needs, including food, bill payments and medication.

They are also reminded to plan ahead, prioritise their spending and keep their money safe. Do not share your PIN or bank details with anyone.

Those who need assistance should seek help from a trusted family member, a bank teller or a police officer.

The support is provided by the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Protection to assist families during this period.
