Fatal Accident Along Rewa Street Claims One Life

Another life has been lost on our roads following a motor vehicle accident along Rewa Street last night.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a man in his 50s. It is alleged the driver made a sudden U-turn, resulting in a collision with an oncoming vehicle.

The victim, the driver, and a second passenger were rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, where the victim was unfortunately pronounced dead on arrival.

The driver and the second passenger remain admitted in hospital as investigations continue.
