FBI Director Kash Patel has strongly condemned the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, describing it as a stark reminder of the "constant threats our world faces from the evils of terrorism."

In a message posted on social media platform X, Patel expressed condolences to the victims of the April 22 attack, which claimed 26 lives. He assured that the FBI would continue offering full support to the Indian government in its fight against terrorism.

“This is a reminder of the constant threats our world faces from the evils of terrorism. Pray for those affected. Thank you to the men and women of law enforcement who answer the call in moments like these,” Patel wrote.

The attack, which authorities said was carried out by The Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy group of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), has drawn international outrage.

Former US President Donald Trump also telephoned Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convey his condolences. According to India's Ministry of External Affairs, Trump expressed full support to India’s efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice, while noting that India and the United States stand together in the fight against terror.

US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard further echoed strong support, stating on X: "We are with you and support you as you hunt down those responsible for this heinous attack."
