FCCC Announces New Fuel and LPG Prices for November 2024

The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) has announced new prices for various fuel and gas products, effective tomorrow.

Kerosene, which is VAT exempt and zero rated, is now priced at $1.67 per litre, while diesel has decreased by 15 cents to $2.18.

LPG gas prices have risen slightly.

A 4.5kg cylinder now costs $14.97, an increase of 17 cents, and a 12kg cylinder has gone up by 45 cents, bringing the price to $39.91.

FCCC Chief Executive Officer, Mr Joel Abraham emphasized that keeping costs affordable for Fijian families is a top priority.

He stated that the price adjustments reflect the commission’s commitment to protecting consumers from the impacts of global market fluctuations.

Consumers will also benefit from reduced prices for unleaded petrol and premix fuel.

Unleaded petrol will now cost $2.62, a decrease of 11 cents, while premix will be available for $2.43, down by 12 cents.
