Fiji and India have reaffirmed their commitment to advancing cooperation in critical areas such as economic prosperity, climate mitigation, and sustainable development.
This was underscored during a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Hon. Sitiveni Rabuka and India's Minister of External Affairs, Hon. Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, on the sidelines of the 61st Munich Security Conference.
The discussions focused on updates to several key projects, including the construction of a 100-bed Super Specialty Cardiology Hospital, the Indian High Commission Chancery, and the Indian Cultural Centre Complex in Suva.
These initiatives symbolize the robust bilateral relations between the two nations.
Prime Minister Rabuka expressed gratitude for India's ongoing support, highlighting the close relationship and familial ties rooted in historical connections and cultural similarities.
Both leaders engaged in productive discussions on various issues of mutual interest, further strengthening the partnership between Fiji and India.
