Fiji and Singapore Deepen Partnership in Education and Health

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Hon. Professor Biman Prasad, received a courtesy call from Her Excellency Mrs. Mary Seet-Cheng, Singapore’s Non-Resident High Commissioner to Fiji and Ambassador to the Pacific Islands Forum, during her visit to Suva.

The meeting, held at Ro Lalabalavu House, focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Fiji and Singapore—particularly in the areas of education and health, which are key priorities for both nations.

Professor Prasad acknowledged the growing relationship between the two countries and thanked Singapore for its continued support toward regional development efforts.
