The Fiji Dialogue, held at the University of the South Pacific, brought together leaders and experts from across the Indo-Pacific to address pressing security challenges.
Fiji’s Minister for Defence, Pio Tikoduadua, reaffirmed Fiji’s commitment to collaborating with partners like Australia, India, and Pacific neighbours on maritime security, climate resilience, countering disinformation, and strengthening governance.
The Fiji Dialogue emphasized the importance of the National Security and Defence Review (NSDR) in tackling these issues and highlighted the need for strategic discussions to lead to actionable solutions.
Next week, Tikoduadua will continue these conversations with India’s Defence Minister to further enhance security cooperation.
