Fiji Elections Office Briefs Police Leadership on Upcoming Election Preparations

The Senior Management Advisory group of the Fiji Police Force has been briefed by the Fijian Elections Office (FEO) on the progress of preparations for the country’s next General Elections.

FEO Director of Operations, Anaseini Senimoli, acknowledged the successful collaboration between the two institutions during the 2022 General Elections and confirmed that similar joint planning efforts are currently underway.

Senimoli stated that the FEO has established a clear timeline and is working steadily to deliver electoral services that maintain the trust and confidence of stakeholders.

She also confirmed that ongoing discussions between the Elections Office and the Fiji Police Force will address matters relating to the legal framework and potential electoral law reforms.
