Fiji Government Receives Feasibility Study for Shipbuilding Revitalization
FIJI NEWS

Prime Minister Hon. Sitiveni Rabuka has received a feasibility study report on revitalizing Fiji’s shipbuilding industry.
Prepared by Arup Australia with support from the Australian High Commission and the AIFFP, the study marks a key step toward re-establishing Fiji as a regional maritime hub.
PM Rabuka highlighted the government's commitment to the project, which will be managed by Oceania Shipbuilding and Engineering Pte Limited.
The facility will be developed in phases, starting at the designated site and expanding into the Public Works Department area.
This initiative follows an MOU signed last year with Australia and aligns with efforts to boost employment and technical expertise.
The Prime Minister acknowledged Australia's continued support through the Vuvale Partnership.
