Fiji Launches Digital Portal for First Home Grant Applications

Fiji’s First Home Ownership Assistance Initiative has gone digital, making it easier and faster for Fijians to apply for housing support.

Launched by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government and backed by the Australian Government through the Vuvale Partnership, the online platform replaces paper-based applications with a streamlined digital process.

Minister for Housing Hon. Maciu Nalumisa said the move is part of a broader effort to modernise public services and meet rising demand. “Digitising the process ensures faster, more transparent, and efficient service delivery,” he said.
