The Fiji Men’s U15 Basketball team secured their second win at the FIBA Oceania Basketball Cup, defeating the Cook Islands 88-76 yesterday.

Fiji dominated most of the match, winning three of the four quarters.

They led 24-22 in the first quarter, 25-14 in the second, and 22-21 in the third.

The Cook Islands won the final quarter 19-17, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Fiji's strong performance.

Kalae Kenny was the standout player for Fiji, scoring 36 points in 34 minutes.

He also contributed 4 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals in an impressive all-around performance.

On the other hand, the Fiji Women’s U15 team was knocked out of the competition after losing to New Caledonia 75-74 in a tight match.

Fiji won three of the four quarters, but New Caledonia’s strong third-quarter performance made the difference and helped them secure the win.

The Fiji Men’s team will next face Samoa tonight at 8:30 PM in their third pool match.
