Fiji Meteorological Service Issues Warnings for Severe Weather
FIJI NEWS

The Fiji Meteorological Service has issued multiple warnings for severe weather conditions affecting the entire Fiji group.
An active trough of low pressure is bringing heavy rain, strong winds, and potential flooding.
A heavy rain warning is in effect, with flood warnings for major rivers and low-lying areas. Flash flood warnings are also in place for all flood-prone areas.
A strong wind warning affects the coastal land areas of Western and Northern Viti Levu, interior provinces, the Yasawa and Mamanuca Groups, Vanua Levu, Taveuni, and nearby smaller islands, and the Lau and Lomaiviti Groups.
Residents are advised to exercise caution, avoid flood-prone areas, and stay updated on weather conditions, as authorities monitor the situation closely.
