The Fijian Government has signed a letter of agreement with the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) to support the implementation of the country’s newly launched National Digital Strategy (NDS).
Cabinet endorsed the agreement, which includes a financial grant of USD $100,000 from the UNCDF to help begin the rollout of the strategy over the next year.
The NDS, officially launched on 3 April 2025, outlines Fiji’s vision for a more connected, inclusive, and digitally empowered society.
The strategy focuses on improving digital access and services across key sectors, strengthening infrastructure, and fostering innovation.
