Fiji Signs MOU with British High Commission for Truth and Reconciliation Commission

The United Kingdom has pledged support for the Fiji Truth and Reconciliation Commission through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on February 6, 2025.
The signing ceremony was officiated by British High Commissioner Dr. Brian Jones and Fiji's Minister for Women, Children, and Social Protection, Hon. Sashi Kiran.
The UK will provide FJD$120,000 to support the Commission's legal and public relations initiatives from January to March 2025.
Minister Kiran expressed gratitude for the UK's support, emphasizing the partnership's role in fostering national healing through transparent dialogue and institutional support.
