Fiji U15 Men's Basketball Team Wins First Match Against Guam

The Fiji Men’s Under-15 Basketball team kicked off their campaign at the FIBA Men’s U15 competition with a thrilling 85-82 victory over Guam in Canberra, Australia.
Fiji showed strong performance throughout the game, maintaining control in all four quarters and not allowing Guam to win any of them.
It was a great start for the team, with the players showcasing skill and teamwork.
A special highlight of the game was the performance of debutant Kalae Kenny, a guard who plays the two and three positions.
Kalae, the son of former Fiji Women's Basketball Captain Letava Whippy, made a significant impact on the court.
Team Manager Benedito Qumi praised Kenny for his excellent play and noted that he is continuing his family’s basketball legacy.
Looking ahead, Qumi said the team is now focusing on their upcoming matches.
Fiji’s next challenge is against New Caledonia, with the game scheduled for 4pm today.
