A young Fijian woman has made her country proud after successfully completing her training with the Royal Air Force (RAF) in the United Kingdom.

Milly Rasovo, who comes from a family with a legacy of military service, officially graduated from the RAF this month.

Born to parents who both served in the British Forces, Rasovo has followed in their footsteps — marking a significant personal and national achievement.

Her journey through the rigorous RAF training program was marked by perseverance, discipline, and resilience.

In a heartfelt post shared on social media, her parents wrote:

“Our hearts are overflowing with pride and love for you, Milly. Watching you overcome the challenges of RAF training and emerge stronger is a dream come true. We’re so blessed to be your parents and can’t wait to see the incredible things you’ll achieve. We love you more than words can say.”

The news was celebrated by many across the Fijian community, including UK-based Fijian Wilfred, who publicly congratulated Rasovo in a social media post:

“Well done, Milly Rasovo! You make us all proud. Vinaka vakalevu to your parents and every supporter who helped you rise to this moment. The future is yours.”
