Five of Eight Suspects Questioned Over Death of Jone Vakarisi

Police have questioned five of the eight likely suspects identified in connection with the death of Jone Vakarisi.

The Fiji Police Force confirmed that investigators are continuing their inquiries into the circumstances surrounding Vakarisi’s death.

Police said once all eight suspects have been questioned, investigators will compile the investigation file.

The completed file will then be forwarded to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) for independent legal review.

Police have not disclosed further details about the suspects or the circumstances of the death.

The investigation remains ongoing.
