Flash Flood Alert Issued for Fiji Amid Heavy Rain
FIJI NEWS

The Fiji Meteorological Services have canceled the heavy rain warning for the Fiji group, but a flash flood alert remains for all flood-prone areas and small streams.
An active trough of low pressure with associated clouds and rain continues to affect Fiji, especially the southern parts, with moderate east to northeasterly winds.
Occasional rain with isolated heavy falls and thunderstorms are expected in several regions, including Vatulele, Beqa, Kadavu, and the Southern Lau group.
The Ministry urges the public to exercise extreme caution, particularly in low-lying and flood-prone areas, and to stay updated with the latest weather information to ensure safety.
