Dr Ali is the Associate Dean Research at FNU’s College of Humanities, Education and Law, and the publication marks a significant achievement for the university’s Department of Secondary and Sports Education.

The book provides a practical and comprehensive resource for teachers, students, researchers and practitioners working in Physical Education and related fields.

It covers the importance of Physical Education and physical activity, pedagogies used in teaching and learning, theoretical foundations of Physical Education pedagogy and effective instructional strategies.

The publication also explores student motivation and motivational theories, assessment in Physical Education, inclusive teaching practices, teacher effectiveness and professional development.

The book is expected to provide educators with practical guidance while also serving as an academic resource for students and researchers seeking to better understand contemporary approaches to Physical Education.

The occasion also marked another achievement for the Department of Secondary and Sports Education, with Dr Vilive Cagivinaka and Dr Varanisese Tagimaucia celebrated for completing their PhDs.

FNU congratulated Dr Ali, Dr Cagivinaka and Dr Tagimaucia, along with everyone who contributed towards the achievements, saying their work was helping grow knowledge, strengthen teaching and inspire the next generation of educators.
