Liam Payne, the former One Direction singer, has died after a tragic fall from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Argentine Federal Police have confirmed the news, which has sent shockwaves through the music community and among fans worldwide.
Several witnesses at the scene mentioned Liam fell from his room on the 3rd floor of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel. We do not know if it was intentional or accidental.
Police and other first responders are all around the hotel now and authorities have put up a red tent over the body as they begin their investigation into Liam's death.
Payne, who gained fame as a member of the iconic boy band One Direction, was part of the group that also included Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan.
