FRFU Reviews Financial Governance and 2027 Competition Plans in Northern Division

The Fiji Rakavi Football Union (FRFU) is conducting its 2026 Financial Governance and Competition Review, alongside consultations on proposed competition plans for the Northern Division in 2027.

The consultation process began in Bua, continues in Savusavu today, and will move to Labasa tomorrow.

The sessions are focused on strengthening financial accountability, transparency and good governance among provincial rugby unions.

Officials are also reviewing the 2026 season, including financial and competition matters, while identifying areas for improved efficiency and performance.

The consultations provide provincial stakeholders with an opportunity to discuss proposed competitions, strategic priorities and development opportunities for the 2027 season.

FRFU says the engagement is part of its broader effort to strengthen provincial rugby structures and support the continued development of the sport across Vanua Levu and Taveuni.

The union says ongoing stakeholder engagement and capacity building will remain important in building a stronger, more accountable and sustainable future for rugby in the Northern Division.
