Fuel and LPG Prices to Increase in Fiji from Today
FIJI NEWS

The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) has announced a rise in fuel and LPG prices effective from today, reflecting global market trends such as the strengthening of the US dollar and increased international freight costs.
Motor Spirit will retail at $2.69 per litre, Premix at $2.53 per litre, Kerosene at $1.80 per litre, and Diesel at $2.33 per litre. LPG prices will also rise, with a 4.5kg cylinder costing $15.78 and a 12kg cylinder at $42.09.
The FCCC attributes these changes to fluctuations in international refined fuel prices and freight rates, as well as the strengthening of the US dollar against the Fijian dollar.
Consumers are encouraged to report any instances of unfair trading practices to the FCCC enforcement teams, who will continue to monitor and enforce compliance with the new prices to ensure transparency and fairness in the market.
