Government Commits to Equal Opportunities for All Ethnic Communities

The coalition government has reaffirmed its commitment to providing equal development opportunities for all ethnic communities in the nation.
The Minister for Multi-Ethnic Affairs, Mr Charan Jeath Singh, made this declaration while meeting ethnic communities of Solomon Islanders, Ni-Vanuatu and Indo-Fijians in Levuka.
Singh emphasized the government’s dedication to ensuring that communities outside the iTaukei group are not overlooked in its development initiatives.
He noted that the reintroduction of the Ministry of Multi-Ethnic Affairs after a 16-year with a new vision aimed at fostering connections with various ethnic groups in Fiji.
"The contributions of all ethnic communities are vital to the development and growth of our nation," Singh stated.
He further expressed the government’s eagerness to work alongside line ministries to support community development projects tailored to the needs of diverse ethnic groups.
