Government Completes Quarters Upgrade in Rotuma

The Ministry of Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management has completed the upgrade of government quarters for District Officers (DOs) in Rotuma.

This $0.5 million investment by the Coalition Government aims to improve living conditions and boost service delivery in remote communities.

The upgraded quarters will support officers in their critical roles, including disaster response coordination. The Hon. Prime Minister is set to officially commission the new facility during his visit to the island this week.
