Heavy Rain Warning Issued for Fiji

The Fiji Meteorological Services (FMS) has issued a Heavy Rain Warning for Yasawa, Mamanuca Group, Northern Division, and Viti Levu, with a Heavy Rain Alert for the rest of Fiji.

The active trough of low pressure is expected to bring widespread rain and potential flash flooding, especially in low-lying areas and near small streams.

The National Disaster Risk Management Office (NDRMO) urges the public to stay vigilant and exercise caution while driving, as road conditions have worsened.
