The Easter Triduum began on Holy Thursday evening with a solemn Mass at the Immaculate Conception Parish (ICPL) in Lami, marking the start of the most sacred days in the Christian calendar.

The Mass commemorated the Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples and the washing of the feet.

After the liturgy, parishioners processed to the Altar of Repose at the ICPL hall, where Eucharistic Adoration took place — reflecting Jesus’ time of prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane.

The Triduum continues today with a Stations of the Cross Pilgrim Walk, organized by the ICPL Evangelization Core Group.

This will be followed by the Veneration of the Cross at 3pm, commemorating the crucifixion and death of Christ.

The Triduum will conclude with the Easter Vigil on Saturday night.
