Hon Inia Seruiratu wants a thorough investigation into Lynda's case

In recent media Release by Hon Inia Seruiratu, he praised the Prime Minister for his decisive action but highlighted serious issues surrounding Tabuya's marital status, as she previously claimed to be divorced from Robert Semaan since 2016, which exempted her from declaring his assets; however, recent admissions suggest they may still be married.

Additionally, Seruiratu called into question the integrity of FICAC Commissioner Barbara Malimali, who closed a case based on potentially misleading information, suggesting that Tabuya may have influenced this decision.

He is demanding clarity on whether Tabuya is still married and whether she pressured Malimali to close the investigation into her declarations.

Seruiratu emphasized that this conduct has tarnished the reputation of the ministry and eroded public confidence in its leadership, advocating for a thorough investigation—currently underway—into these matters to restore trust in public institutions.

He intends to bring these issues to Parliament, asserting that the Fijian people deserve honest and accountable leadership.
