Hon. Kamikamica’s Blame Game: Time for Action, Not Excuses

Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Kamikamica continues to blame "16 years of economic mismanagement," but without proof, these are mere allegations.

If mismanagement occurred, legal action should follow, said Hon. Premila Kumar.

"The Bainimarama government delivered nine years of economic growth, doubled GDP, and strengthened foreign reserves. Tax cuts, VAT reductions, and poverty reduction measures improved Fijians’ livelihoods," she stated.

In contrast, the Coalition Government has raised VAT, increased corporate taxes, and expanded government spending—worsening the cost of living crisis.

"Fijians deserve solutions, not excuses. It’s time for the government to take responsibility and deliver real economic progress," said Hon. Premila Kumar.
