Imran Khan Sentenced to 14 Years in Jail for Being Involved in Corruption

Imran Khan, a former Pakistani Prime Minister, has been handed a sentence of 14 years for involvement in a land corruption case. It is believed that Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi abused Al Qadir Trust by using it in an investment scheme with a property tycoon Malik Riaz Hussain.
The allegations were denied by Khan’s party, PTI, and intends to challenge the decision. Bushra Bibi was also arrested following the verdict.
Khan who has served in Jail since August 2023 claims he has endured more than 150 cases after being ousted from his position back in 2022.
