India, Fiji Discuss Cooperation in Mineral Sector

India and Fiji have held discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation in the mineral sector and building technical capacity.

Indian High Commissioner to Fiji Suneet Mehta met Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources Filimoni Vosarogo, with talks focusing on opportunities for greater collaboration between the two countries.

According to the Indian High Commission, discussions centred on cooperation in the mineral sector, capacity building and further strengthening the longstanding bilateral partnership between Fiji and India.

The meeting comes as Fiji continues efforts to strengthen the management and development of its mineral resources sector while exploring opportunities for international cooperation and expertise
