The High Commission of India in Suva has reaffirmed its support for the development of cricket in Fiji by providing sponsorship for the Cricket Fiji Super 8 Championship 2026.

Cricket Fiji Chief Executive Officer Anushil Kumar met with the Indian High Commissioner to Fiji, His Excellency Shri Suneet Mehta, during a handover ceremony where the High Commission officially presented its support for the national tournament.

Cricket Fiji acknowledged the contribution, saying the partnership would help create more opportunities for players while continuing to grow the sport across the country.

The organisation thanked the High Commission of India for its trust and generous support, describing the partnership as an important investment in the future of cricket in Fiji.

Cricket Fiji said the support would contribute to the successful delivery of the Super 8 Championship while strengthening efforts to develop the game and expand participation nationwide.
