Investigation Underway After Guests Fall Ill at Warwick Resort
FIJI NEWS

The Ministry of Health and Medical Services is investigating an incident at the Warwick Resort on the Coral Coast after seven guests fell ill from consuming a cocktail drink at the resort’s bar.
The guests, aged between 18 and 56, were taken to Sigatoka Hospital last night, showing symptoms of nausea, vomiting, and neurological distress.
Due to the severity of their conditions, all seven patients, including four Australians, one American, and two foreigners residing in Fiji, have been transferred to Lautoka Hospital for further treatment.
Health Inspectors have joined the investigation at the resort to identify the source of the illness and locate any other guests who may have experienced similar symptoms.
In addition, the Fiji Police Force is conducting its own investigation into the matter.
The Ministry of Health has urged the public to take extra precautions during the festive season to ensure food and drinks are safe for consumption.
Further updates will be provided as investigations continue.
